We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our customer service team. A background or previous experience in industrial sales/service is helpful but not a requirement for this position. Please note that this is NOT a telemarketing position. Duties include handling incoming phone calls and emails from customers, working with our outside salespeople to process and track orders and quotes, and generally delivering excellent service and customer care. Our customers include Fortune 500 companies as well as small and medium sized companies in the Greater Delaware and Lehigh Valley areas. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Customer Service-Warehouse Departments. We provide industrial maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) supplies to manufacturing, utility, and service organizations. Our customers include Fortune 500 companies as well as small and medium sized companies in the South Florida area. A background or previous experience in industrial sales/service is helpful but not a requirement for this position. The ideal candidate is able to move from the customer service desk to the warehouse. We are looking for a person who can speak well on the phone, correspond with customers via email, and at the same time not afraid to “get their hands dirty”. Duties include handling incoming phone calls and email from customers, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks and stocking shelves. The ideal candidate should be able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. We are currently seeking a qualified outside sales representative (Account Manager) to join our sales team. The primary coverage area for this position is the New England Area in Connecticut and Rhode Island. The ideal candidate should live within 40 miles of Groton, CT. The successful candidate for this position will have experience in providing products and solutions for customers in the maintenance, repair, operations and production (MROP) markets. The individual must be able to sell their value and the value of our company to the customer. They must be able to look for and find cost savings & operating efficiencies. In addition to product knowledge we are looking for individuals who have experience selling storeroom solutions that include vendor managed inventory (VMI), Vending Machine Solutions and Value Added Services. On a daily basis our competition includes companies such as: MSC, McMaster-Carr, Grainger, IDG, and Fastenal. Responsibilities include calling on established accounts, identifying new customer opportunities, and managing a territory. The main focus will be generating new sales and new accounts. You must have a sense of urgency and the ability to interact with our End-User Customers’ ownership/leadership, plant management, and purchasing and maintenance departments. Our market area is primarily throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island. Our customer base includes, but is not limited to, metalworking companies, refineries, chemical companies, fabricators, pharmaceutical companies, food processors, submarine and aerospace manufacturers. Some of our product lines include: abrasives, adhesives, cutting tools, power tools, lubricants, hand tools, precision tools, material handling products and safety products.
